Dr. Murari Jha

I am a Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement (FTEA) alumnus of the U.S. Department of State, where I had the privilege of studying at George Mason University, Virginia, in 2018. In 2019, I further enriched my understanding of education by attending a certificate program on Teaching and Mentoring at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore. Currently, I serve as a Mentor Teacher with Delhi Government Schools and as a visiting faculty member at Delhi Teachers University. My academic journey was profoundly shaped at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, where I developed a strong commitment to research and education, culminating in my PhD in Education from Jamia Millia Islamia.

Recently, I developed a framework for understanding AI in education, known as the HSPT framework. This framework has led to several national level talks where I explore the intersection of AI and educational practices.

Throughout my career, I have been honoured with several awards, including the Shiksha Sewa Award from Delhi Teachers University in 2024, a Teacher Fellowship from the Regional Resource Centre of Elementary Education (RRCEE) at CIE, University of Delhi, the Excellence Award from the International Human Rights Organisation (IHRO) in 2021, and the Special State Award from the Delhi Government in 2017 for my contributions to the education sector.

I regularly share my thoughts and reflections on education through my blog, reflectivediary.com and lead a campaign called 'Read with a Teacher' to foster a love of reading among teachers and students. I can be reached via email at murarijhaprofessionalwork@gmail.com.
